The Next D.O.O.R. Is Open: Register for the Inaugural National Dialogue

The Decade of Our Repatriation is not only about the movement of people. It is about what becomes possible when return is connected to education, ownership, enterprise, and public responsibility. The next Open D.O.O.R. Dialogues gathering turns that principle into a full day of national engagement.

Join the Inaugural National Dialogue on Friday, October 30, 2026, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. in Ghana at the University of Ghana College of Humanities. The partnership with the College of Humanities places repatriation inside a serious institutional setting, where students and established leaders can learn from one another.

The program brings together keynote addresses, diaspora repatriate perspectives, student recruitment, entrepreneurship and innovation, exhibitions, networking, and media engagement. Each element answers a practical question: how do we convert a desire to reconnect into durable opportunities that benefit people in Ghana and throughout the diaspora?

The word dialogue here does not mean talk without consequence. It means making knowledge visible, identifying collaborators, opening pathways, and establishing relationships that can continue after October 30. Return grows stronger when it is organized.

Reserve your place through the official event page. Come prepared to listen, contribute, and leave with a clearer route into the work.
