The Project

We are proud to announce the groundbreaking Akuakrom Development Project, developed by the Akuakrom Development Partners, LLLP, a visionary initiative that marks not only a milestone for Africa but a history-making achievement for the world. At the helm of this unprecedented endeavor are two extraordinary African American women: Ayana Nkenge Partee, JD, MBA, serving as Executive Director and Michelle F. Anthony, Partner and Chief Operating Officer of Akuakrom Development Partners, both bringing decades of expertise, heart, and bold leadership to reshape what development means for the African continent and beyond.

The Vision

Akuakrom Development Partners, LLLP is leading a transformative effort to create a 126-acre, master-planned, mixed-use community in the Ashanti Region of Ghana. Strategically located near the Kumasi International Airport and key highways, this project redefines community building by combining residential living, sustainable agriculture, and local commerce—all while honoring traditional land stewardship.
